Action Alert: March/April 2008

Cluster bombs can be banned: MAKE IT HAPPEN!
This Action Alert comes directly from the Cluster Munitions Coalition, www.stopclustermunitions.org

Cluster bombs have killed and injured thousands of civilians, but now we have a real and rae opportunity to ban them in 2008.

Over the next few months, governments will be discussing and negotiating a treaty to prohibit cluster bombs. Make sure that your government is involved in the Oslo Process and supports a strong treaty that will protect civilians and assist people that have suffered from these weapons to rebuild their lives, livelihoods and communities. The time to act is now.
